Who we are and what this notice covers

Avara & Co. Consulting LLC is a Northern Virginia consulting business serving organizations nationwide, including remotely. This notice describes information collected through our website and the choices available to visitors.

Separate privacy, confidentiality, and data-handling terms may apply to an agreed consulting engagement. This website is not a channel for patient information, regulated records, or confidential project materials.

Contact inquiries

When you submit a contact inquiry, we collect your name, company, business email, service of interest, project description, preferred contact method, and your agreement to the privacy notice. We record the notice version and time of consent.

Inquiries are stored in a private client-management database. Our founder uses the information, related internal notes, and lead status to review the request, respond to you, and manage a potential business relationship. A contact inquiry does not automatically enroll you in marketing communications.

Newsletter interest and your consent

The separate newsletter sign-up collects your email address only when you actively agree to receive Avara & Co. updates. We record your consent and store your interest separately from contact inquiries.

The sign-up currently registers interest for a future newsletter; no marketing campaign or confirmation email is sent automatically. Before campaigns begin, an appropriate delivery service and an unsubscribe option must be configured. You may withdraw your interest now by submitting a request through the Contact page.

Hosting, security, cookies, and analytics

The website and its application database use Manus-provided hosting services. Fonts are self-hosted. Essential technical logs may be processed by the hosting infrastructure to deliver, maintain, and protect the site.

Spam prevention uses short-lived signed form tokens, submission timing, a hidden bot-detection field, and rate limits. One-way hashes derived from network/request information and email addresses are used for abuse prevention; raw network addresses are not stored by our application for this purpose. Hosting infrastructure may separately retain technical logs.

The private dashboard uses Manus sign-in and essential session and sign-in-state cookies. Visitor contact and newsletter forms do not require a visitor account. No marketing trackers or application analytics have been added, and optional platform site analytics are disabled. Hosting and platform badge processing may follow the provider’s own practices.

Sale and sharing

We do not sell submitted personal information. Hosting, database, authentication, and operational-notification providers process information as needed to operate and protect the website. The owner’s operational alerts identify that an inquiry was saved, rather than reproducing your project description.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to a valid legal process, or protect rights and security. Additional processing tools or mailing services will require an updated disclosure before they are introduced.

Retention, safeguards, and your choices

We retain inquiry and newsletter-interest records while relevant to the stated purpose and applicable legal or business needs, and review them for continued relevance. Abuse-prevention counters expire separately. No internet service can promise absolute security.

The private dashboard requires an authorized owner sign-in; public visitors cannot list or read inquiry or subscriber records. Submitted information is not published on the website.

You may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of newsletter interest through the Contact page, selecting General inquiry and indicating that the message is a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law.

Children and third-party links

This website is not directed to children under 13, and it is not intended to collect their personal information.

Links to third-party websites, including sign-in services or professional profiles when available, are subject to those services’ privacy practices. Please review their notices before providing information.

Changes, review, and contact

We may update this notice as website features, providers, and data practices change. The date on this page identifies the current version.
